Meet Dan: building skills and a bright future at Fanshawe Road

At our Fanshawe Road development in Cambridge, we’re proud to see apprentices like Dan laying the foundations for a successful career in construction.

Dan joined our team as a bricklaying apprentice and has since gone from strength to strength. He recently completed his NVQ Level 2 with a Merit, a fantastic achievement and a real testament to his hard work and dedication on site.

Now, Dan is part of the pioneering new teams model with GSQ Brickwork, where he’s taking on even more responsibility. As a second-year mentor, he’s supporting new entrants to bricklaying, helping them develop their skills and confidence, all while continuing to learn himself under the guidance of an experienced mentor.

It’s inspiring to see Dan not only progressing in his own career but also giving back and helping to shape the next generation of tradespeople. Alongside his brother, he continues to work hard in Cambridge, helping deliver high-quality new homes for the local community.
