Cromwell Road
Cromwell Road is a new housing development in the heart of the city. This is the largest scheme in the CIP pipeline and will deliver a mix of flats and houses both for market sale and for council rent. In addition, the development will provide a new open space and community facilities.
Building on the former Ridgeons site, Cromwell Road will enhance the cityscape and bring brownfield land into beneficial use.
Homes: 295

Cromwell Road will be a mixed tenure scheme with 177 new homes for private sale and 118 council rented homes. In addition, facilities will be provided for an early years or community medical facility. The new park will incorporate sustainable drainage features and be linked to the Chisholm trail.
Architect: Pollard Thomas Edwards
Landscape: The Environment Partnership
